I seem to find many subjects that tiptoe around what I am looking for. I have a great MDL app for SS3 that is Civtools I would use to flatten specific elements in Microstation to a specific Z elevation. Is there just no update to this? If not, is there a command in CE that enables me to select specific elements and set them all to the same Z.
Thanks in advance for the help!
CivTools is a great free tool which has the capability to flatten selected elements to a specific z value but there are other methods available to perform a similar operation including using the Element Selection tool and then making modification in the Element Information dialog.

I believe once our developers have prioritized the work being performed upgrading our base products that they would be looking to release a version of CivTools certified for MicroStation CONNECT Edition.

Thanks. I am just glad that I wasn't completely missing it. Also, after playing around with CE for about an hour or so... I did find a good flatten key-in that works well. Key-in 'flatten curve xyplane'. This was working for me on curves, lines, and linestrings. Much faster than exporting to 2D.
Andrew, I am requesting an update on this tool because civtools.ma will not load into the CONNECT Edition. CONNECT Edition just became available to my organization as it takes about 2 years to test and verify security of new software. Without this tool, our team will be unable to complete engineering calculations and efficiently produce drawings for plan production.
Hello Joshua,
We have added the Set Element Elevation tool from CivTools and included this under the Manipulate ribbon group in the Ribbon Home tab.
You can select one or multiple elements and flatten them to a set elevation.
Thanks,
Dan
I thought Civtools needs to be recompiled for CE and is therefore not available.

That's what I understood as well. Believe he just used the term CivTools as a reference, like "from CivTools".
