Hi All,
I was wondering if there is a command in MS to automatically produce a list of x-refs the drawing is referencing, so that a list can be placed in the title block of the drawing for future ease of reference and for those that cannot open the MS file.
Kind Regards,
Nimesh
There isn't one quick command to achieve what you would like but with the introduction of Reports and Tables in the CONNECT Edition of MicroStation you can create a report definition in a dgnlib that searches for references in the current model.
Once the definition is made you can place that report as a table in sheet. The benefit of relying on a Report definition is that the table can be easily updated.
For some background you can see the following:

Cool! So cool, in fact, that I wrote an article about it. MicroStation CONNECT: Reports describes how to create a report that lists reference attachments. We've encapsulated the steps described in a DGNLib that you can download from that web page...

In CONNECT Edition there is also the sheet index and this can also be placed as a table.

Thanks David, Unfortunatley I don't have the connect version, I am using MS V8i Select Series 3. One of my colleagues does use the Connect version and what you suggested works for him!
I think it's time for an upgrade.
Thanks again,
