I have opened several DGN that have been linked to a Workset. When I try and add them to the sheet index. All of them report and error stating they are not linked to a workset.
Yet the properties say they are.
WHY?
Is DGN file belong to same workspace and workset? I do not see that in this dialog. Workspace information is not visible.

Yes the files are opened in the correct workspace and workset. When I opened the dgns, I got the option to link to the workset, which I did.
If I look at the properties it says they are linked
NOTE this is a customised setup.
There should be a WorkSpace field under the WorkSet properties.
Can you follow the instructions in the following wiki to disassociate the file:

You should then be able to reassociate to the WorkSpace and WorkSet.
