when I place a dimension or text the font is all the same except for the stacked fraction even though im using the same font. when I place a dimension their is no space between the inch and the fraction and the stacked fraction uses the same font as the rest of the dimension. but when I place a text their is a space between the inch and the fraction also the font is not the same for some reason of the text even though I don't change the font. does this have anything to do with my font.rsc file? any help on this would be great, thanks.
Hi Russel!
There is a switch in the Text Styles dialog to use Stacked Fraction from Font. I believe one file has this toggled On and the other has it toggled off.
I Hope This Helps Someone Reading This! (Intergraph>PseudoStation>MicroStation user since 1980's)
when I go to the dimension style dialog box and click on the text tab in the stacked fractions area I have enabled checked and have it set to on. however when I go to the text style dialog box I have fractions checked and that stacks them for me but it's still not the same style of text, also I cant find that switch your talking about.
In the Dimension Style dialog, under the Text tab, down in the "Stacked Fractions" area, is the Type set to "From Font"?
Per your reply, it only works for the non-stacked fractions. I would like to place the space between the inch and diagonal-stacked. I don't see anyhow to do that in the Dimension Style dialog. Unless I had to break the element which I don't want to do that.

What version of MicroStation are you using? This thread started a few years ago, and probably concerns MicroStation V8i. MicroStation CONNECT may have different behaviour.

I am currently using Microstation V8i
