Hi, everyone.
Pre-CONNECT version (on V8i), we could edit a "shortcut.txt" file that would be read by AccuDraw. - or we could even change the "MS_ACCUDRAWKEYS" to look at a different file as well, if we wanted.
Now, on CONNECT, I can't find a variable to edit my AccuDraw shortcut keys, and "MS_ACCUDRAWKEYS" variable was deprecated. If I press "?" on AccuDraw, it displays a "Keyboard Shortcuts" dialog box, listing the current shortcuts, but is there a way to export this out and/or import a different one?
Any help is greatly appreciated...
In the CONNECT Edition this is now handled and saved to an XML file. The associated configuration variables that would be used to define the XML are shown below:
Currently there is no direct way to import/export the file. Currently if you wanted to move the shortcuts to another machine you would have to take a copy of the XML file and move it to the appropriate location on the new machine.

Hi, David. Thanks for the answer! Exactly what I was looking for
One problem now remains: I can't find the current xml file being used. I went to the directory being pointed to (see below) but there was no shortcut file in there
Any chance you know where it actually is? Or, perhaps, could you send me yours? I could use it as a template to re-create mine from my old shortcut.txt.
Thanks again,
Edgar Soares
Hi Edgar,
if could be useful, I have one of mine available:

Personal.KeyboardShortcuts.xml.zip
Super! Thank you so much, Mara! I think I got all I need now.
Both of you, thanks again :)
Wasn't this saved in the file personal.funckey located in the prefs folder (C:/user/username/appdata/local/bentley/program name/program version/prefs)?
I could import my old V8i funckey.txt to Connect and now just backup this file along with others and move my personal.funckey around to the appropriate folder whenever needed.
Edit: sorry, I was confused - in our office we call the function keys "Shortcuts" and the keyboard shortcuts "Tastaturkürzel". The personal.keyboardshortcuts are stored in the same folder.
