mstn V8i SS4 v08.11.09.829 w/Win 7
I use the measure length tool all the time to get the total length of several selected lines and linestrings. Beginning today, I can select the elements, open the tool, left click to Accept the selection, and nothing happens. The Boxes for Length and Direction appear grayed out.
I haven't done anything unusual lately except save_as a bunch of dgn's to dwg's using several different Options settings in the save_as dialog.
Is there a setting I should look at?

Are you in the DGNs or the DWGs? I can't think of a reason that DWGs would be problematic, but I've seen stranger things.

Dgn's that had not to do with my conversions. I'm not there now, but maybe it'll work after a restart. It's odd.
When you pick the "Measure Length" tool
1. Does it ask you to Identify the element or Accept or Reject in the Prompt area?
2. Does it state anything in the Message Center?

If the restart does not work, please go to programs and features, right click on your Microstation and choose repair.
