Is there a way to identify or highlight any lines, points & / or elements in a 2D drawing that are off grid without interrogating each individually?
thanks in advance
Hi Russell, I wonder this your situation have resolve ? Because I meet that similar situation. If yes, Please help me instructions that. Thanks.
There is a Utility that will check for Gaps & Overlaps in linework called Data Cleanup. But it doesn't check for off grid (if you are talking about the M-Sta. Grid display).
I Hope This Helps Someone Reading This! (Intergraph>PseudoStation>MicroStation user since 1980's)
Where did this grid come from? Is it user generated? Is it just lines or is it a cell? Just how is this "grid" defined?
Is it at known coordinates with a known increment (if so, you could create a VBA to test the end points vs the coordinates).

hi Jose,
V8i Select 3. I'm drawing electrical schematics & need to know that all my connections land on grid points. i am using drawings that have been previously created & would like to be able to open a drawing & run a command of some sort that would highlight lines whose end points don't land on a grid point.
i'm new to microstation & the forum & obviously have a lot to learn about both.
thanks
lines whose end points do not land on a grid point, points that don't land on a grid point & elements whose insertion points do not land on a grid point
