Hi,
I have several files with a several references in each file. Unfortunately they haven't got "relative path".
Can anybody advise me how to automatically change relative paths in references?
I'm searching command to do it but I can't find. Is there any simple solution?
thanks in advance!

Hi Serrgius!
Are you sure this is what you want? If there is no path stored in the reference, MicroStation will look in the Default location your file is in, then in the locations pointed to by the MS_RFDIR variable, defined for references locations (directory path(s)). Locking in specific Relative paths falls apart if the file moves to other users that don't have those specific paths.
Not trying to change your mind. Just wanted you to be aware of a more popular option.
I Hope This Helps Someone Reading This! (Intergraph>PseudoStation>MicroStation user since 1980's)
Hi Serrigius,
You should be able to add saveRelativePath=1 to the configuration variable MS_REF_DEFAULTSETTINGS.
1. Go to Workspace > Configuration...
2. In the Category list, select Reference
3. In the "Modify reference related configuration variables" list, select "Default Attachment Settings"
4. If there is anything in the Expansion box, go to the end of what is there and add ",saveRelativePath=1" (without the " double quote)

Should not this be an option in reference settings dialog?
EDIT: There is such thing in file browsing dialog "save relative path"
