Is it possible to ignore/supress/bypass SSL certificate error when attaching WMS service?
Please tell us the version of MicroStation that you are using.
Regards, Jon Summers LA Solutions
v8i/CONNECT doesn't make a difference in this case. For QGIS there is at least checkbox to bypass SSL error. Just looking if there is such in Microstation.
Oto,
I'm seeing the same thing too, can't connect to https://hazards.fema.gov/gis/nfhl/services/public/NFHLWMS/MapServer/WMSServerThis is in CONNECT Update7Error - "The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel."

This is suffix which Microstation appends to WMS URL - ?EXCEPTION=application/vnd.ogc.se_xml&VERSION=1.1.1&SERVICE=WMS&REQUEST=GetCapabilities
so for test try to open https://hazards.fema.gov/gis/nfhl/services/public/NFHLWMS/MapServer/WMSServer?EXCEPTION=application/vnd.ogc.se_xml&VERSION=1.1.1&SERVICE=WMS&REQUEST=GetCapabilities in browser
SSL certificate looks correct so not sure why it fails. Report it to Bentley.
Attaching manually created xwms file. Try if it works, only issue that you won't be able to edit it in Raster Manager as the server GetCapabilities request has the same error.
National Flood Hazard Layer.xwms.zip
Your xwms file works fine - thanks. The syntax of fema's link is slightly different:https://hazards.fema.gov/gis/nfhl/rest/services/public/NFHLWMS/MapServer/WMSServer?request=GetCapabilities&service=WMSmaybe that's what the problem is, I'll call Bentley to follow up.
Thanks again
