Split lines (pipe) to several lines

Dear Users,

I can not find any info how to split line ( in my case pipe) to several elements.

Shortcuts 6 -> 1 is not working. (drop element).

Any idea how to do it?

  • from your screen shot, Linia  in google translate  means line  so we infer you already dropped or never was a complex object  but  lines and  circles, so you look as if your  wanting to break your  horizontal line into segments, the  break line or partial delete will let you do this by a  point(s) but if you want to do it by regular or equal intervals first place a vertical line crossing your  horizontal line then copy  parallel the vertical to a number of equal intervals then in the  modify tools the  break line by elements the  far right  tool , will let you select all te  vertical crossing lines then the  line to be broken result  all equal length segments, then delete the  temporary vertial lines,,, there are a many  other ways to do this but this was the simplest and easiest to explain and do.. unless you want to do a line several kms long in to many parts... but for most  users I think this the easiest and fastest way.. of course we could  be  more specfic if you could  provide a better dgn file example and  better  description pictures of what you ant it to look like when done what you want......

  • Version of Microstation is not relevant.

    We have V8i, SS2, SS3.

Line was mady by *.rsc format, so breaking elements will not working properly.

If I have line style -> it work (better or not), but if software don`t have my *.rsc is not working.

So any ideas how to solve it?

    Thanks for Your helping ;)

  • You do not understand me.
We work on various versions of Bentley programs such as Microstation, Inroads, Powercivil etc.
We also use different versions of programs : XM, V8i SS2, SS3.
Neither method works in any of the programs / versions described.

So I write that there was not relevant.

We also try to use fences or any other ideas to split lines with this style, but none of the were helpful.

Any other metohods to spli lines (with this*.rsc style) ?
