Active scale and active angle. I get it reset, thousands of times, to as=.000265, and aa=45 deg. I am opening many old files, rarely creating a new one. Is there anyway I can override this, to as=1 and aa=0, before I change them?

What version are you working with? Find info in About menu in the form of 08.xx.xx.xx or 10.xx.xx.xx
If an old one here you can see some tips regarding your issue.

You can create a key-in and assign this to a function key, so everytime you open this old files you can run the key-in through your function key.
Remember that Help and the Communities are always a good place to search for some help before posting some question.

If you search through the wiki there is a way to preload and run a macro thhatwhen ever you start mstn open dgn .... the macro you run would contain the keyin commands to set the active scale and active angle ...
other wise I would prefer to use the script file contents below over night in a batch process that has all your files added to it.. then I would also add all your seed files to the batch so no chance of having it occur anymore..
aa=0
as=1

I am looking at and trying to tidy up old messages, but when I try "accept this as the answerj", i get an access violation.
So whatever closed issue flag should get attached, it probably doesnt. sorry about that.
