I have powerdraft select series 3 8 11 9 397
I use the full screen width cross haired cursor, which enables freehand alignment to objects
on a not nearby part of the screen.
When I use the arrow powerselector to move an object, cross hairs are there, but disappear
as soon as the object is moved.
So the cross hairs cannot be used; they are not there during the movement.Whis is exactly when
they are needed,When the movement ceases and the mouse is released, they come back again.
So, trial and error is needed, to use the crosshairs.
How can this rather unintelligent behaviour be curbed, to the blessed things remain visible
when needed??
Hi Jim,
Assign the following key-in to a function key.
MOVE;DL=;/d;/d;RESET
After selecting the element, press the function key to move the current selection while displaying the full screen cursor.
Regards,Ron
Thank you Jose Lorys Ron for you help, BUT
I can move an object with one mouse downclick and drag. No keystroke. No other command.
Just one mouse downclick, and a drag.
Dont want to hit enter with one of my many spare hands
. Dont want to hit a function key.
But, immediately on mousebutton touchdown, the cross hairs DISAPPEAR,
to then reappear immediately on mousebutton release.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do you not see the ergonomicity of it?
I have never regarded my full screen cursor as an 'ACAD' thing:
Please mind you language!
thanks
Jim
