Hi
I'm having some glitches with selection tool. At first I though that the problem is with my mouse, but when MicroStation is not running, then the problem wont occur. Those glitches won't happen all the time. And when they do, they are spamming me and it won't let me work normally.
Examples:
When I'm dragging the text element, the program itself makes two-clicks so it opens the text editor tool.
While dragging an element it might automatically cancel it for me and finish the dragging without me clicking out releasing the left click.
If dragging from left to right only element that were completely inside the selection box will be activated but sometimes for me it doesen't activate the elements in the selection box. When I release the click the element will stay active for brief moment and it will lose the selection. I would have to use the right -> left selection.
It feels like while I'm doing my thing there is an another mouse in someones hand who clicks the left click at the same time with me, which cancels actions or distracts them.
Any ideas, where to look for the problem?
Mr T
Thanks for the reply. The mouse is with wire.
So far I think that the problem was that the preference file was corrupted. I will test and see if the problem has been resolved.
And if that isn't it, take a look at your preferences. See what the "Click Sensitivity" is set to. The default setting is "Normal". However, I find that my mouse "thinks" I click more often than I do at that "Normal" setting. When I change the Sensitivity to "Slow", I have far fewer random extra clicks.

Even with a wire you can change the USB port it is plugged into. Not all USB ports are the same.
I Hope This Helps Someone Reading This! (Intergraph>PseudoStation>MicroStation user since 1980's)
Could be it! The mouse was connected to the monitor's USB port, I imagine that those ports are not so great.
