Maximum Number of Clip Points

I am working in Microstation V8.11.9.832

There is no way I used 5,000 clip points in my file. I saw on another post that that number excludes clip points in files referenced to the file I am in currently. But it is acting like I have reached the maximum number of clip points. If I delete a reference mask, it will allow me to create another one, but it won't let me create any new ones without deleting an existing mask.

  • I noticed in the past that using circular elements to create clip boundaries and clip masks actually creates polygons... with loads of clip points. Dunno if this still is the case with V8i SSn though.

Also, if it is an older V7/J file, that limit is somewhat around 100 points. Can you imagine?
