I have recently installed the released Update 8 via the Client and now receive a Text error box whenstarting the application in out of the box mode?

Ok the short solution was to repair the install!

What does that mean?
I ran the install exe file (ms10080037en_updt8.exe) and then used the repair option.The first installation of update 8 was carried out using the connection client.
and where did you finde that?

The Repair option is provided by the Windows installer when you re-install an application that is already installed on a Windows computer.
