I noticed the first time I use a Microstation .rsc font in V8i I get a message regarding creating a TrueType font? Is this file stored somewhere? Brian Thomas Selser Schaefer Architects

The quality of the generated TrueType font will be somewhat font-dependent. TrueType does not support "stick" fonts well (where the glyphs are made of thin lines, not filled shapes), although some improvements were made in V8i to address this. I generally agree with Josh that you shouldn't substitute an RSC font with this TrueType equivalent, but depending on your needs, they are valid TrueType fonts.

We have a .rsc font that I was trying to get my "excel" reports to match. The Microstation TrueType equivalent works well enough for this usage. Brian
