Connect - Accusnap issues

Accusnap seems to be going crazy.. Sometimes it will snap where it should, other times it just puts it at the cursor.

Here is a video

Possible that it has to do with the DPI settings.  Happens with all snap modes

  • Same problem here. Tried different settings and seems the only way to get to the actual point is tentative snap, which is a pain if you are used to Accusnap.

  • go back to v8i ss4!  hey kevin where you working nowdays

  • This may not be a CE specific issue, I reproduce this issue using V8i also

  • Could you share a video of this happening in V8i? We have a team of people working 50:50 between CE and Microstation V8i and have only had issues within CE; obviously all other variables remain the same. It is surprising to me that you think this is not CE related?

  • I use a mouse wired to my laptop to move the cursor. When it just snap the end point, I take my hand away from the mouse to avoid that I accidently move the mouse again when I want to click the button. Now I use left-button on my laptop to click the button and it lose the snap.

  • When I found that this is a Windows defect when I debugged this issue in CE, I wondered why all people said that it was CE specific, so that I tested it in V8i and found that it could reproduce in V8i also. This defect has many conditions to appear, high resolution monitor, DPI setting, the position on the screen (at most positions on the screen it works fine but at some random positions on the screen the defect occur)
