I'm trying to install the Microstation CONNECT 14-day trial. I get the message: Failed to copy payload for Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications 7.1 (KB2803801). I tried turning the Windows Firewall off, but it didn't help. Any ideas?
As shown in the following Wiki article the KB2803801 error is usually relating to a proxy server or other security software connection issue.

Usually we would have advised to create a Deployment image but in this case with the 14 day trial version I would think you would need to look at other items within your system / network that is affecting the communications.
Try using the following command to create a deployment image anyway and see whther this creates to required MSI and EXE files for an installation.

First try running the EXE file you downloaded using "Run as Administrator" and ensure any proxy server details have been entered into the advanced settings. Check any other security, anti-virus, anti-spyware software you have installed and possibly disable them temporarily for this installation.

Thank you for responding, Andrew. I disabled firewall and anti-virus software and ran the EXE file as administrator without success. I was unable to create a deployment image.

Did you check if the downloaded file is complete?

Thank you for your response, Jose. The solution turned out to be disabling the proxy server. Hurray. All is well.
