Using a Cell within a dim style - Why does it not show the same?

We have a cell being utilised as part of the dimstyle symbology, however graphically it does not show the same as the parent cell

The top arrow is the Cell as expected

The bottom arrow is the same cell as part of a dim style

Once dropped to elements, it regains its true visual appearance.

Any ideas ?

  • Try editing the source cell get rid of all those parallel lines and use a  fill instead  make it same colour as the out line and the dim line so you wont see the line from the tip on top as it black on black ( er white in cad colour 0)  the parallel lines was how we used to do things back in older  versions like  V7 and V5 .... as fills were awkward back then... now they are an attribute of any closed shape or polygon and easier then multiparallel offsets close together.....

Try it it should give you a better result....
