Hello Forum,
When ever I try to create a link between Excel and Microstation using the "Linked to Design File" tool, I get the attached pop up.
I just updated from MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries 2) to MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries 4) and that's when I started to have the issue.
Every time I try to update or insert a new link from an excel sheet (while I have it open) it will give me the same issue.
Any possible answers?
Thanks in advance,
CM
In case someone finds this post, had a similar issue appear in MS 17, ORD 10.11 and 10.10 . Check the Advanced Options in Excel and uncheck the "ignore DDE links".

I'm using Excel 2016 and it wasn't upgraded when I got MicroStation upgraded. I did notice that my Windows was upgraded from 7 to 10 but not sure if that affects this command. I also downgrade from SS4 to SS3 trying to solve the issue but no luck.
Thanks for the reply,
Which version of MS Excel do you have on your system? Was this upgraded as well? Maybe you're now using MS Office 365?
