Hi,
You can attach .COT image file with Raster Manager (File->Raster Manager->File |Raster Manager Dialog|->Attach). Once you have clicked Attach, a dialog will open in which you can choose the file you want to add to the model. You can select the option Place Interactively to place your image at the correct location (translation and scale transformation only). Finally, you can use the tool Warp (Edit |Raster Manager Dialog|->Warp) to apply a affine transformation on it.
Thanks,
Mathieu
HAY Mathieu,
I do the transformation with Warp method, and save the map onse with "intergraph rle" ,another with "cot" extension. But when I detach the map ,and attach once again the transform map do not take the place with the correctly coordinates.I must place it again interactivly. In MS7 that map have his exactly coordinates and have his own place in file.Is it possible to do in MS 8.
Help again,
Dobi
Hi Dobi,
Did you uncheck the Place Interactively option in the Open dialog when you attached the .cot or .RLE file?
Otherwise, can you post your dataset (including the .cot and .RLE files), so I can check the problem?
Hi Mathieu,
Yes, I wrong, I not uncheck the Place Interactively option. Now I try to attach "cot ",and "rle" files and it works o.k. So I can the maps which I transform in MS7 direktly attach in MS8. If I have another problem how could I post my files? Throw send you a private e-mail?
Thanks Mathieu
"how could I post my files?"
There is some information under the "How do I attach images or files to a Post?" section of the Forum Help that should help regarding that.
Hay Phil,
I have attach a file: "cross section .dgn " but here is not available. I have some question about that cross section witch is drown with InRail 7. Is the file available to you?
Regards ,Dobi
If the images and/or files are less than 4MB total (this is very much recommended... as providing a small example that demonstrates an issues is almost ALWAYS easier to diagnose), then you can attach it to a Forum posting by clicking on the Options tab in the post editor. If it is larger than 4MB, then the FTP section of this wiki article should help.
Note that the Forums support a "white list" of file extensions that can be attached to posts. Some files, like BMP files, are not allowed (there are much more economic file size formats for images). If you encounter an instance where the file you are uploading is not allowed (and it is NOT BMP), you can put it in a ZIP file to upload it and then post an article in the Be Communities Feedback Forum identifying the file extension that was not allowed and the site administrators will review the request.
Did you try either or both of the things mentioned in the first paragraph and they did not work? Note that if you are uploading a file to the ftp site, the file name cannot contain any spaces.
I go to: Options- add- upload File- Browse- Cross section from my desktop- save. In the massage was a sign " * "
The other posibility "link to url " I dont understant and dont know what to do.
