Attaching a "cot " files

In MS7 referens files with "cot" extension I can attach and transform them with affine method. Then they have their own place with their xy coordinate. But in MS8 the referenses are with "tiff" extension and the procedure with transform isn't  the same. So I can't do  transform maps with their own coordinates. How can I do that?
  • Hay Phil,

  • If the images and/or files are less than 4MB total (this is very much recommended... as providing a small example that demonstrates an issues is almost ALWAYS easier to diagnose), then you can attach it to a Forum posting by clicking on the Options tab in the post editor. If it is larger than 4MB, then the FTP section of this wiki article should help.

Note that the Forums support a "white list" of file extensions that can be attached to posts. Some files, like BMP files, are not allowed (there are much more economic file size formats for images). If you encounter an instance where the file you are uploading is not allowed (and it is NOT BMP), you can put it in a ZIP file to upload it and then post an article in the Be Communities Feedback Forum identifying the file extension that was not allowed and the site administrators will review the request.

Did you try either or both of the things mentioned in the first paragraph and they did not work? Note that if you are uploading a file to the ftp site, the file name cannot contain any spaces.
