My pc did a windows update last night and this morning when I logged onto CC it tells me that there is a MicroStation updated (CEU9) available for install. I already have CEU9 installed!!

Try doing a repair on MicroStation. Something may have been changed in the registry by the Windows update.

How do I do this as I don't see a repair option?
In your BentleyDownloads folder, or the location that you have updates downloaded to find ms10090101en_updt9.exe > right-click > run as administrator. You'll get a repair option that way.

I'm going to move your discussion to the MicroStation forum because it seems the problem is with MicroStation and not the CONNECTION Client. If the application is already installed you should get a repair option when running the .exe as I did in my screen capture above.
Seems to me that your install is not being recognized at all.
