My pc did a windows update last night and this morning when I logged onto CC it tells me that there is a MicroStation updated (CEU9) available for install. I already have CEU9 installed!!

Try doing a repair on MicroStation. Something may have been changed in the registry by the Windows update.

In your BentleyDownloads folder, or the location that you have updates downloaded to find ms10090101en_updt9.exe > right-click > run as administrator. You'll get a repair option that way.

I'm going to move your discussion to the MicroStation forum because it seems the problem is with MicroStation and not the CONNECTION Client. If the application is already installed you should get a repair option when running the .exe as I did in my screen capture above.
Seems to me that your install is not being recognized at all.

Can you post a screen shot of the About MicroStation dialog that you currently have installed? I'm assuming it would be 10.09.00.23 since we did push out an update to 10.09.01.01, just as a confirmation. However, if you did do the update to 10.09.01.01, then we'll have to investigate further.

Thanks Stuart for the screen capture to confirm the version. The CONNECTION Client is correct in that there is an update to MicroStation CONNECT Edition Update 9. It resolves an issue with the background maps option not appearing in the View Attributes. This will update 10.09.00.23 to 10.09.01.01.
OK thanks for the information. What's interesting about this is that we are not getting updates to updates. So is this CEU9A?
If I update using CC will this keep my custom location, or do I need to use a download?
CC usually works O.K., but I would recommend download and install.

Well I've installed the latest update. I say installed but actually it is still uninstalling the previous version. Now 45mins and counting. Do I cancel this or let it go. At this rate it could be all day!!
