I want to move a reference -500' on the xplane but I am a little confused how to get the Batch Process to pick it up. I have the move reference keyin but I am unsure how to tell it to move 500'. It is a basic question that I hope someone can answer for me. Thanks in advance!
that didnt work either, ill look into DX like you recommended and hopefully find the magic number to move the reference lol
ok - so this is more of a sheet generation routine - got it.
Thanks for the clarification.

Yeah I know it seems redundant but the reason I want to use batch process is that for each project we have we have to setup a sheet which easily takes half an hour to do. And it is a bunch of simple commands that need to be made in a specific order, so reference one drawing, copy it in, change the color, copy another in, etc etc. So I wanted to simply automate the whole sheet since it is basic tasks that do not need human input.
I don't understand why you need a batch routine if you are only moving 1 reference in 1 file ?
Is your view rotated, or is this unrotated X & Y?
I forgot that DX is along the view axes. The full keyin for DX = x,y is POINT VDELTA x,y
If you want to go along the design axes, you will want DL = x,y. The full keyin for that command is POINT DELTA x,y
If you want to move by distance and angle, you would use DI = d,a. The full keyin for that is POINT DISTANCE d,a
You may need to select a view for the function to complete. you can add ;SELVIEW 1 to the end of your keyin. That might help.
Actually, if you go to the Help file and search for DX, you will get the page for precision input keyins. You may well find the information you need there.
