Hi all
I've downloaded Microstation Trial (ms100600102en_updt6.exe), installed it.
But when I start it, it stops with a gray screen. No error message.
when trying to connect with Connection Client, I get the message "Not associated with an organization". But I have an account (just me, no organization, since I am testing it).
Hardware: Microsoft Surface Book 2
Any help appreciated
Johannes
Hello,
To resolve your issue with the CONNECTION Client download and install the latest version of the CONNECTION Client from https://store.bentley.com/en/products/iware/1000CC--CONNECTION-client

Unfortunately, doesn't work for me.After some months (I don't use it very often), I wanted to try out my MicroStation CONNECT 10.00.00.25 version (over two years old). It used to work, but now only was crashing at startup.I uninstalled, and installed latest MicroStation CONNECT Update 9 (took 4 hours). That version hangs, and CPU usage of the process goes to over 50%. I have Win 10 Pro Spanish, and a week ago it updated (the Spring Update, that I now read to be the most likely culprit. Certainly not going to roll back; those processes take more than half a day).I used your link to install CONNECT Client Spanish, but unfortunately it makes no difference here.
UPDATE - Then I discovered that "Agregar idioma" (Add language), when you select a language, offers the possibility to download the language package. Then when you reboot, it installs (took some 20 minutes). I didn't know that! Cool, my windows is talking English now!Only sad thing: MicroStation CONNECT still hanging at startup ... thanks anyway.
Hi Jan
Maybe, you have to install more language packages.
These settings were working for me, but I had to reinstall MS Connect with these (I only used the actual version trial).
Afterwards, I could change the Language back to mine (German) when I didn't work with MSC.
The language settings are only for system language, the keyboard can be changed in the win task bar.
Regards
Somehow, my reply to your comment before this got lost. There I mentioned the add language.
I used the same settings you have, but I had to reinstall MS Connect with these.
When I didn't use MSC, I changed the language back. The keyboard language you can change in the win 10 taskbar. This is not having an impact on MSC.
Hi Johannes again, now I'm seeing your comment, thanks! So if I would reinstall Mst CONNECT now, it probably works. Not going to do that now, because takes 4 hrs, but I'll keep it in mind. Best regards, Jan Willem
