I am working years with MicroStation from very start to todays, for Slovakia in library as Europe/Czechslovakia was GCS as S-JTSK valid for both countries,
btw Slovak and Czech Republic are separated to two independent republics from 1993 , so it could be fine to divide it in library too,so I say why
I never had any in problem with GCS, but after MSCEU7 , S-JTSK for Slovakia dissapeared from library of GCS and was replaced with s-JTSK 05 , but this GCS /JTSK05 is not valid for Slovakia and and so Slovakia missed valid GCS in library MS
I wrote about this really serious problem months ago , problem is not only in MSCE but in all application with MSCE core, as AECOSim, ORD,ORCS, CC and so on , i found it when ORCS informed me about unknown GCS and was not able to work , and old dgn with S-JTSK was out of data, :-(
I had to go back from MSCE to V8i, because all cadastre data are in S-JTSK
now is released MSCEU9.1, but library has not GCS for Slovakia again , it is really frustrated , how to explain to investor serious and curious problem,
it could be fine to see in MSCEU10 in Library of GCS : Slovakia /or Slovak Republic with valid systems by geoportal /geodesy of Slovak Republic are:
S-JTSK : EPSG::5513 (South-West), ::EPSG::5514 (East-North)
S-JTSK03 EPSG:: 8352 (South-West), EPSG::8353 (East-North)
or old s-jtsk from V8i,V7 and pls. dont forget to insert into all relevant applications for slovak users could use them
regards and soon
We are currently cleaning up coordinate systems for Czech republic and Slovakia. The way geographic coordinate systems are defined in Bentley products is that the coordinate system not only defines the projection from map to the model of the Earth but also the transformation from one model to others. This way Bentley users need only select the GCS and the datum transformation need not be specified but is included in the selection.
Coordinate System EPSG:5314 (S-JTSK / Krovak East North) is based on the geographic2d coordinate system EPSG:4156 (datum 6156) and the EPSG database defines multiples transformation to ETRF89. We will be introducing missing entries for Slovakia and a minor fix is made for formerly used transformation over Czechoslovakia (which resulted in the old definitions being moved to legacy but new fixed entry will re-appear).
We will then have five different definitions for EPSG:5314, one of which is for older Czechoslovakia maps, two for Slovakia and two for Czech republic one of which is not defined in the EPSG database. We also added EPSG:8353 (S-JTSK [JTSK03] / Krovak East North) and EPSG:5516 (S-JTSK/05 / Modified Krovak East North) had already been added in a previous update of MicroStation CONNECT Edition.
You will see that we only added East-North variations as MicroStation usually requires horizontal axis increasing rightward and vertical axis increasing upward. It is possible to support other axis direction using view rotation, auxiliairy coordinate systems, or specifying a different Quadrant value in the coordinate system definition. If needed variations can be introduced with a user-defined Geographic Coordinate System definition by clients.
All these should be available in Update 10.
Concerning the Czechoslovakia folder in the Geographic Coordinats System selection dialog it was already scheduled for splitting in Update 11 as UI has been frozen for Update 10 many weeks ago.
Finaly I have contacted the Product Manager for ConceptStation products and noted the incapacity for users to select Legacy Coordinate Systems. We will work on a solution for this not to happen again.
Hello Alain and allI welcome this discussion very much. We (as Bentley partner) have big complications with this problem and we stop here when we start discussion about CONNECT versions. When some help will be needed, please contact us.Is it known date for Update 11 to release?

We have not yet seen Update 10! Perhaps that version will be available in July 2018.
Bentley Systems are keeping close to their promises for Update releases, and one follows another by approximately one quarter. My guess is that you could see Update 11 in October 2018. But I don't work for Bentley Systems, and my guess is as good as yours!

Unfortunately the new GCS did not make it in Update 10 (final build already made). I have been working on the new JTSK03/JTSK based GCS for Slovakia (using the latest definition from February 2018 based on a NADCON file) but had not completed the implementation. I have tried adding correct latest Czech definition but have not worked up to having a perfect fit (10cm off) with test points. Will contact Czech autorities to find the problem.
Sorry for the delay.
