How to force associate template without using customized tasks? Is there a similar tool like "synchbylevel"(MS_LEVEL_SYNCH_BYLEVEL) but for attaching templates? Or at least key-in to set it always active?
The Keyin if I understand correctly is
lock templateassociation on; xxx\yyy
Where xxx is the Template Group and yyy is the Template

in my opinion there is no such functionality available (btw what product / version we are talking about? ;-).
I am not sure how it should work, because "by level" can be always set to the same value regardless of MicroStation state (active level, tool etc.). But a template is associated with a tool and often also element type.
Or your question is about to only set the template association switch on, regardless what template is active?

Product could be any v8i Microstation/Powerdraft. What I need is to force the "associate template" to be always on without option to switch it off or only allow it to switch off for one time.
