How does one place Geometric Tolerance Feature Control Frames and Datums in CE?
The legacy geometric dimension tools from V8i have been deprecated, for reference an example of them being used please see:
https://communities.bentley.com/products/microstation/f/microstation-forum/127135/geometric-tolerancing/387254#387254
While the tool isn't available the Fonts that it relied on are still available. See below for and example:
The steps to achieve the above are
1. Start Place Note tool (with or with leader as desired)
2. Set the Font to either "ANSI_SYMBOLS" or "FEATURE_CONTROL_SYMBOLS". FEATURE_CONTROL_SYMBOLS uses the boxframe
3. Open the Insert Symbol Dialog, the highlighted portion in the Word Processor.
4. Begin inserting the required components by clicking on the symbol in the Insert Symbol Dialog, for numerical values you can enter them with keyboards input.
5. Place the Note as needed.
Thanks. This will get the job done, but very inefficiently.
I have found that the keyin DIALOG GEOMTOL brings up the Geometric Tolerance dialog just as it did in SS4, but picking any symbol in the dialog return the message "Unknown key-in or command".
Could it be that Bentley was going to implement the feature in CONNECT edition and just never finished it?

If something is deprecated, it usually means that there is a newer alternative, which we might hope will be better than the deprecated version. Is there a CONNECT version of that dimension tool (sometimes tools are well-concealed behind the workflow)?
In Bentley-speak, by the way, deprecated also means: "We're not going to fix it if it's broken."

Yea, what he said. 2 months on CE now, I've had to change work procedures for more than a couple operations.
