Hi Jose, 
 If you create and set this variable, you will then get the ability to select the model from the backstage when looking at a file. Keep in mind there may be a performance hit depending on the number of models in the files.

All, 
 Since Stuart posted his immediate post U10 comments we've had a look at his configuration and found a particular change that removed the file open delay, the test file in question now opens in a snap. I'm not going to discuss the specific change at this point as: 
 a) The configuration item is very site specific and does not have general application. 
 b) We are still researching the behaviour we observed.
