REPOSTING from eloCAD forum:
I am using Hidden Line as the presentation style for the model in the references dialog. But then my center lines, leaders, and any other line work won't show through/or on top of the 3D objects. I have tried to select the lines and use Edit>Bring to Front command which didn't work. I tried changing some of the settings in the Display Styles dialog (not reflected in screenshot), but that changes the entire display of the view. I have been able to achieve one or the other
What are the settings that I need to show the line work?
Thanks,
Hi Jeff,
Have you checked References \ Properties \ Update Sequence and change the order of your reference in relation to the model where your lines are?
Or this lines are in the same model as the object? If they are, you'll have to change them to a different model/file or change the height of them to a value greater then the 3d object, so that when you place a top plan the lines have a z value greater than the 3d object.

José
Thanks for the reply Jose. I appreciate your suggestions. I tried changing the order in the update sequence and didn't see any difference. The line work is in the 2D drawing and that drawing at the top position in the update sequence. I am referencing the 3D model into the 2D plan drawing and the model sits just below the active design file in the update sequence.I think you're right about changing the height of the lines, or display depth. But I'm not sure how (or if it's possible) to change the z depth of the lines in a 2D file?
Maybe there's something I can adjust in the visible edge settings... IDK?

Using Bentley Substation V8i SS7 v.- 08.11.12.137
You need to have your 2D drawing display last. At the bottom of the list.
