Question

Hello, 
 I use two users on my laptop: one is a member of a domain and one is a microsoft account. 
 I customized the configuration variables for our domain. See attached. 
 When I log in as a member of the domain this works fine (for all members of the domain) but when I login with my microsoft account a few strange things happen: Microstation does not remember the last directory to open or save files and the list of recent files (under the tab 'File') stays empty. 
 Any ideas to sort this out?

What version of MicroStation are you using? 
 From the _USTN_ORGANIZATION references it appears to be some release of CONNECT. 
 If so, the first two definitions _USTN_USER and _USTN_HOMEPREFS are a problem. 
 I was involved in a lengthy discussion during the CONNECT preview about redirecting the user prefs and other settings. The variables were still available, but would not honor any changes you made in the the config files. 
 It was made clear by Bentley that they were not supporting the redirection of these settings, all of the user files would be saved in the Windows $(LOCALAPPDATA) location like most other windows applications. 
 I suspect that the reason you are seeing the difference is that your Windows user profiles are different between your domain and Microsoft accounts, and that your variable definitions are being ignored by MicroStation CONNECT.
