Hi,
I created bunch of custom 3D line styles in V8i generation software and now they don't work in CONNECT. The way I build these line styles is I used meshes rather than solids (to keep them lighter size-wise) and it seems to be the reason why they are not recognised in CONNECT. Any reason why such defined line styles are not supported? If not, can this be fixed asap so we don't need to recreate
Below is a screenshot. V8i on the left and CONNECT on the right.
I'm running ORD update 4.

It appears you have advised you are currently using OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition (Update 4). I would assume that you have upgraded from using InRoads V8i for this discussion? Thanks for the screen capture. Is it possible for you to supply a copy of one of these 3D line styles for us to try to replicate your issue between the two versions?

Sure, please find attached.

Thanks for posting the *.rsc file, I am able to Place / View the 3D Linestyles using both MicroStation CONNECT Update 1o and OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition ( Update 4 ).
Have you checked the variable MS_SYMBRSRC is pointing to your *.rsc file ? https://communities.bentley.com/products/microstation/w/microstation__wiki/15379/adding-client-linestyles-to-the-element-linestyles-custom-list
Is the LineStyle available in the Attributes, LineStyle drop down list ?
Is the problem file specific ? What happens if you create a new file are you able to then place the 3d LineStyle ?
Also check the View Attributes ( CTRL+B ) and ensure 'Line Styles' is checked on.
In addition, the image supplied also shows different colors V8i compared to CONNECT, could it be that you are using a different Display Style / Display Rule, Color table?
Was a Template used and is this available in CONNECT ? You might also want to post onto the OpenRoads forum https://communities.bentley.com/products/road___site_design/f/geopak-inroads-mx-openroads-forum#pi25841=1
