Copying out measured angle

After measure  angle, I want to do a rotation using the value measured.

In message centre, it says:

Angle = 3.927 followed by a lttle circle which is not an ascii character.

When I try to copy the angle value, it will not highlight - instead the whole line highlights.

So the high lighted text is

"Angle = 3.927~"  where ~ represents the little circle which is not an ascii character.

In the rotate tool, when I paste the highlighted text, it does not recognise it because of

the junk characters, and it resets the rotate angle to zero.

So I have to edit it, to remove the junk characters.

Required behaviour is that a double click in the message bar line, on the angle value,

will select the value.

Double click to select a word is a GUI standard.

Can powerdraft be made to edit properly in Message Centre?

thanks

double click to select word, or any editing at all, in message centre line

btw adobe print also ignores double click, in its ' single click dropdown'

and microsoft defies the convention of side arrow on selection taking

you back to lhs of highlighted text.  its a habit of people to think, it

seems, they are v special and dont need to uphold 30 year old GUI

conventions.  power is known by the rules you break.

Jon; many thanks. A whole nother 128 there I dont see.
