Good day
I'm trying to figure out how to use the Place Table tool in MicroStaion/ OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition. We have a very standard format for some of our data and would like tables to be created exactly as they are in Excel.
Below is how the data looks in Excel:
Below is what it looks like if MicroStation attempts to preserve the formatting:
You can see that most of the text does not come through and not all of the row heights are preserved. The column widths are preserved.
Below is what it looks like when not preserving the formatting:
Am I missing something?
Kind Regards
Warren
Thanks for your post but it is against an old discussion and does not really explain your problem in much detail. You might like to post a new question into the MicroStation Forum for us to assist with your specific issue. You might like to include example files or screen captures to assist.

Thank you for posting this about MicroStation Connect. I'm having trouble with OLE and with placing a table using Excel. Maddening to say the least.

I think you're being a little pessimistic. The CONNECT Updates have arrived more or less as Bentley promised once a quarter.
If we see Update 12 arrives in February 2019, then Update 14 should be with us in October 2019. Let's hope that the defect has been rectified.
