how to create a title block with attributes in microstation? Is there any simple method?

you can do this easily via tags I've attached is a tutorial to do exactly  what you asked  for it explains tags ( acad speak attributed blocks and how to do it for a title block)  .. however to really get best out of it you need to be able extract or harvest tags from dgn to excel and  back from excel to dgn, excel has great tools for creation of series auto filling and equations and most of us have excel already.

Now the problem is mstn doesnt  come with this tool already built  it requires you to use vba ( I think bentley  should give us this tool partly built or customisable already but they dont) anyway if your great at coding then go for it ... I'm not so I bought an off the shelf tool(s) Caddpro from Adam Lambert .. which is very effective and inexpensive.. look at  demo

I have tried all these at one time or another and IMHO I personally prefer Caddpro... as it is not expensive, made  by  a fellow aussie msnt drafter  so he understands what drafters want and has also custom tools for DOT work... which I use as I mostly do roads design drafting ..Enjoy..

As Lorys wrote, if using MicroStation V8i then tags would be a good choice.  How does a title block with attributes fit your workflow?  Is it your intention to read and update those attributes from an external data source, such as Excel or a relational database?

Thanks for the citation!  FlexiTable can read and update tags in a DGN file.  It can update multiple DGN files and models automatically.  It's can read and write Excel files.  A number of customers use it for title block update from drawing records stored in Excel.
