Hi,
In Microstation Connect Update 10, I am placing cells with "Enter Data Fields" in them. When I enter information into an empty "Enter Data Field", it turns white. When I edit an existing filled "Enter Data Field", it turns white. When I place a text with an "enter data field", it shows properly. When I edit that text (edit single enter data field tool), the part of the text with the data field turns white.
This does not happen in Mstn V8i SS3.
Is there a setting that I am missing, or is this a bug?

Hi Robert,
This issue has been fixed and will be available in upcoming release.

Abhay,
I noticed the above issue of EDF turning white. You mentioned the fix being available in upcoming release. I am using Update 13 (Version 10.13.01.01). This is the latest version at the Bentley site. Is the resolution of the issue in the next update?
Thanks.

Hi Dilip,
From what I understand, this issue has been addressed in CE Update 14 (when ever it comes out). Of course, only user testing will be able to confirm that it works in all cases.

Thanks for the info. I don't think this issue was there in the version previous to 10.13.01.01.
When i noticed this first in my CE Update 12, i fixed it by going into the cell library and editing cells datafield by highlighting the datafield and changing to correct colour. It fixed it for me.
Only thing now i just noticed today was, for any text notes with datafields it was turning the text notes box frame to white colour. So hopefully in CE Update 14 they have fixed this too.
Hi Dilip & Robert,
Could you please share the dgn ?
Hi Abhay/Robert,
Sorry I couldn't send the dgn file earlier. I was busy on a project. Anyway, I am attaching a DGN file Dilip.dgn. It has a cell called "R1". This cell has a nested cell called "LOC", which is comprised of just an EDF on level 16 with color=3 (Red). I copied this cell (R1) and edited the EDF for LOC cell. Notice the the EDF text "(XYZ)" turned white. I also just inserted the cell "LOC" and copied it and then edited the EDF, Notice this time it didn't turn white. Looks like this only happens to nested cell with EDF.
