CONNECT Edition - Recent files list - selecting a model for a file

Question

Does anyone know how to enable the setting highlighted below - I cannot get this to show on my current configuration.

Hi Jose Pinho, 
 I can reproduce the issue too. I selected other model and it does not apply what i selected, reverts back to the default model. I follow up via SR with you to link the Defect 995803 with your SR.

Could it be that you are talking about Update 10 as this operation was removed due to performance issues.

Hi Stephen, 
 As Andrew Bell already mentioned this functionality was removed due to performances issues. 
 This option is now hidden by Default in update 10 but You can set a configuration variable to enable model picker to be shown back if you did not experience any performances issues.

I got confirmation from PM that configuration variable can be disclosed as they have already mentioned in this Blog

 Be aware that if configuration Variable (MS_STARTSCREEN_SHOWMODELPICKER) is set back to 1, there could be a performance hit.
