Hi,
I was wondering if there is a way in microstation to alway show the vertices? Because quite often I want to pick an element and look at the vertex with some tool, but when I click on the tool I want to use, the vertices is invisible again..... In short terms I want the vertices to always be visible. Is that possible?
Hi P?l o
I am not sure I understand you correctly.
Do you mean vertex or handles in an element?
If you mean handles you can enable this on the element Select dialog by just pressing on disable handles button, once this is done the button below (Select handles) gets activated. See screen shot
If this is not what you are looking for, please maybe attach some screen shot or example file

Hi Maria, and thanks for the respond, unfortuantly that is not what I was looking for.
I am not sure if I mean vertex or handles as I am not 100% sure whats the difference between the two...
I have attached some images that shows what I mean. Image 1 show a group of selected elements with its corresponding vertices, but when I then change the tool I want to use, the vertices goes invisible eventhough the elements are still selected, see image 2.
I want that the vertex(or handles?) are always visible.
Any suggestions?

Microstation has handles, Autocad has vertex.
The useful tip that was given is for selection only.

Thanks Jose, then I know the difference :) But do you have any idea on how to make the handles visible at all time?
You could create a custom linestyle with a point symbol at each "end" and "corner".

Technically you should not need to have the vertex points displaying at all times as whichever tool you are using your should be selecting the appropriate Snap Mode to snap to the type of position or point along the elements. Something like the Keypoint snap mode would be used in this circumstance to snap to each vertex point when using any tools to place or modify your elements.

I think this is a good idea MaryB. However, I am not very familiar with the line style editor and cant see how to make a symbol at every vertex... Can you send an image of the settings you would use to make this work?
