Recently, I've noticed that my fractions are not simplifying like they used to. For example, with a 1/4" dimension accuracy setting, 4/8" will not reduce down to 1/2".
Have I changed a setting somewhere? I've looked everywhere for this, and I've tried the latest versions of both MicroStation v8i and CONNECT.
Jonathan is correct in advising to check the Accuracy setting in your Dimension Style.
If this does not help it might be worth providing an example for these dimensions that you are placing along with the Dimension Style being used. Is this a DGN file you are working within or could it be a DWG file?

My accuracy is set to 1/8, and I'm working with a DGN. MicroStation used to (and still does sometimes) reduce a 4/8" down to 1/2" with this same accuracy setting. How can I get MicroStation to reduce fractions by default?
This is the behavior I'm seeing. The 6 6/8" dimension and the 23 1/2" dimension are using the same Dimension Style with the same accuracy, but for some reason 6/8" will not reduce to 3/4"
Thanks for the quick replies, everyone! This has been a puzzle for me, and it really seems like some update broke fraction reduction for me.
Attached is a portion of this same file with the same dimensions styles. Let me know if you can make any sense of this. Using the latest version of MicroStation CONNECT.

Hi Joel,
Take a look at this setting in the dimension style box:
Retain fractional accuracy.

Robert,
Unchecking Retain Fractional Accuracy in all of my styles did the trick for me! Thank you so much!
This Primary dropdown also led me to the Non-Stacked Fraction Space check box, which was the source of another bothersome issue for me.
Thanks again!
That's correct. Thank you for understanding his issue and solving it.
