Good morning I have the same problem, in microstation CE update 11 ita drop LineStyle works only with the "diamond" style and with the others no.
attached the dgn and rsc file.

Hi Tom,

I can reproduce the issue. Key in worked for me in V8i SS4 when trying to drop batten line style but in CONNECT I get the same alert message. I suppose is a Bug but I will confirm with development.
