I would prefer a dark theme option as I find it less of a strain on my eyes.
Enhancement Request 42765 has been filed requesting this functionality.

There's an idea with a diferent enhancement number, is this normal?
Already pass 1 year and an half, isn't there any news about this?

Thanks for posting the link to the Idea, I have cross referenced both Enhancements so Development are aware when reviewed.
outside microstation could you change the darkness of the theme generally from windows itself? what about the brightness / contrast control on your monitor?

If you are running Windows 10 x64 - 1809, there seems to be an option to select. Here enclosed an image for reference.
