Dear Forum,Is there a way to see what Seed file was used to initiate a design model? To see if a certain seed was used or a.n.other.dgn?
I totally agree with everyone here that there is no easy way to track what seed files have been used on existing files and would be quite complex to setup for any new files. I think you possibly need to explain the reasoning behind why you would require this information. Another item to consider could be Design History if it is the detailed changes of your files that is what you require.

Hi,
The reason is that I need to know where these are stored?

What is the exact version no. (e.g. v10.x.y.z) of MicroStation that you are using? Use key-in VERSION to see the version no. in the MicroStation Message Center, or Help→About MicroStation in the backstage.
VERSION
See this blog that shows you how to obtain MicroStation's version number.

You're adding a new question to a thread that originated in 2018. What is it you want to know?
DGN seed files are found in a workspace-configured location.
