Knowing the following works to load MS Word via key-in %%"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office14\WINWORD.EXE" will open MS Word
Is it possible to add a file to open Named MicroSoft.docx when loading the Winword.exe ?
Very sorry to waste anyone's valuable time.... I finally worked it out and this works %%explorer "E:\User\RJBPIII\My Documents\Word\MicroStation\microstation.docx"
Version: MicroStation V8i SS 10
RJB Phillips III (Richard) Praise the Lord for His Mercy and grace in Christ Jesus
You could just ask for the document to be opened, no need for the explorer.exe%%"E:\User\RJBPIII\My Documents\Word\MicroStation\microstation.docx"

yep
of course so obvious now you showed it, windows knows the file association for word files on your pc so just need to jump to shell mode ( not the exact right term but good enough) to find the file ... great answer thanks.. its going in my book of msnt tricks..

Yes Sir Mate It worked and so did %"E:\user\rjbpiii\My Documents\Word\Microstation.docx a single % not sure what the difference may be
but I will correct my command . I had found the %% explorer opened the Explorer and allowed you to go anywhere so I added the path and it worked . I sure appreciate. 2:34am got to quit. Thanks all
