MicroStation help tells us that MicroStation CONNECT Update 11 provides support for i-Model 2.0.
Hi Jon,
The Publishing of the iModel 2.0 support in MicroStation CONNECT Edition Update 11 allows the iModel's to be used in Bentley Navigator CONNECT Edition. I'll try to find some additional documentation on this.
Thanks,
Dan

Well, I think it would help to know what i-Model 2.0 does that previous versions do not do.

What other products can use i-Model 2.0? For example, can Power Platform products attach an i-Model 2.0 as a reference? What external products can use i-Model 2.0?

see iModelJs repository and discussed issues, it much better place to discuss i-model 2.0 in my opinion.
And of course iModelJs web is a primary place where to start to learn more about i-model 2.0 and technologies and concepts that form the i-model.

It was discussed already.

Thank for your answer and links to iModelJs. However, your own post to that site reveals uncertainty: "What is not clear is whether the conversion will be done solely through ProjectWise Orchestration Service and the output has to be pushed to iModelHub"

A beautifully-designed web site. I couldn't find any information about i-Model 2.0 format.
I posted the question to read what Bentley System have to say about a new capability in MicroStation. It seems that they're not clear.
This is like buying a new car to find that it has a Spoovinator option on the dashboard. There's no mention of Spoovinator in the handbook, so what's it for? Why do I need one? Can I share my Spoovinator with other people?

I think when you will read all existing issues (fortunately not so many exist so far ;-) and also a documentation a bit, it will become cleared. And the question in the current form cannot be anwered in one simple way I think, because it depends what feature and functionality you require. Basic conversion is supported by MicroStation itself.
I recommend this discussion to your attention.

What format description do you expect? In my opinion it's beter documented than previous versions of i-model: Using BIS schemas EC classes are used to describe data structures and instances. To store i-model snapshot and brieface, SQLite database is used. That's all. Do you need anything more?

What functionallity do you mean? imodel 2.0 format support or anything else?
If imodel is your question, in my opinon Dan's answer is fine, because iModelHub and iModelJs are not in the final official version, so if now it's "only" about to publish data for Bentley Navigator, I am fine with it.
