Hi,
I just made some parametric cells which I used in a parametric model. Here the cells are for example connected with dimensional constraints.
Today I tried to update the levels and colors of / in the cells. After I Updated the cells, all of them only have one level: Default and they are white. Also the connected variables where dis-connected.

The main model is Totaal. The other models are parametric cells which I use in totaal.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi Louis,
could you try using the "replace cell" tool wit the "active cell" option instead of update? You will need to set the new cell as active and then replace the instances in the dgn model.

Below is the workflow about update parametric cell:
1. Edit element in parametric model.
2. Open Cell placement model.
3. Attach the updated cell library if the placement model and definition model are not in same dgn file(You can skip this step in your case).
4. Open Cell library dialog and toggle on "Show Shared and Parametric cell Definitions".
5. Select edited model.
6. Select "Update from library" or right click and select "Update Cell Definition".(Please check below Screenshot).
7. Click Update in Update Parametric Cell dialog(You can remap variable or variations if you changed them in Steps 1).
BTW, I could not reproduce the connected variable became dis-connected problem, could you please provide you steps?

Maybe I looked wrong, but I saw one other peculiarity. The materials seems to update, but when I change a Bylevel color, in the cell placement model, the color didn't update (on an object without a material).
The variables that became dis-connected appeared when I updated or replaced the Parametric Cells.
