Hi,
I have an issue regarding the clip volume is not function when i open A model. The clip volume setting in view attribute dialog are missing.
However, when i open B model, it's worked and clip volume setting in view attribute dialog are shown.
Both models are in DGN.
May i have some advise for this issue due to i have really no idea about it.
1. In A Model Situation
2. In B Model Situation
Thank you !
Hi Herman,
because tthis is MicroStation forum and you use AECOsim Building Designer, I recommend to move your post to AECOsim Building Deisgner forum. You should be able to do it yourself, check More menu under you original post.
Even though clip volume is MicroStation tool, AECOsim BD adds own functionality and extensions to design cuts, so in my opinion it's better to discuss your issue in context of AECOsim and not plain MicroStation.
With regards,
Jan

Hi Jan,
Thanks for your reply.
Actually, I used MicroStation and AECOsim building designer, both have same issue.
Maybe I need to attach another photo with MicroStation and replace the photo here?
:)

Ok, now the situation is clearer. That's the problem when people don't specify product exactly and posted in one forum screen captuers from another product.
I agree with Mahendra that a file would help.
Regards,
Sorry for the confusing due to i am new in Bentley Software.
i am using AECOsim building designer and microstation building designer (V8i SS5 08.11.09.747) to try out these model.
But i not sure microstation building designer is exactly the microstation.

it's not ... sometimes it is :-)
Both MicroStation and AECOsim Building Designer are developed on top of the same "power platform" (imagine it as internal engine / core), but they are two different products. It means they share the most of the tools and interface, but discipline specific products add own tools and extensions, so sometimes the same tools behave a bit different in different products.
So it's always better to ask in right forum (MicroStation for MicroStation, Building for AECOsim Building Designer etc.), because (not very often) an answer about the same tool can be different depending on the product used.
