The attached file has an arc with points placed along it using the point along elements tool. In V8i SS3 I can snap to these points for example when using smartline. In Connect I can't. As far as I can tell snap settings are the same.points.dgn
Are the points on the arc there just for snapping purposes? If so why not use the "K" shortcut to change the key-point divisor setting in this case the setting would be 4 and you would be able to snap to the exact points where the points would be without having to place them.
Hi David. Yes that was what my user was wanting to do and that is the solution I gave them but when your're trying to get people to use Connect you want them to be able to work as they did in V8i while they gain confidence and this kind of bug of which Connect has too many is not helping.
That suggested work around will not work if you want to place a point along the arc at some random distance, then use it for whatever.
Accusnap is a bit hosed up, for me it's not even consistent.

Another, possible workaround select the arc, and in the Properties dialog under Extended change from Snappable to Not Snappable. Just have to remember to change it back after operation if required.
