Connect Advisor session loading with every Microstation?

Hi,

How do I stop this [description omitted] thing?

First I noticed a slow down while trying open a file in Microstation V8i (SS3).  I went into my Windows 7 task manager and saw the Bentley Connection Advisor running.  I also had a copy of Microstation Connect running, so I assumed that the Advisor started with Microstation Connect.  I started playing around.  A new session of Connect Advisor gets loaded every time I open a new session of Microstation--either Microstation V8i or Microstation Connect.   I have already removed the Advisor's dgnlib in V8i, and I have the Advisor's "Launch Connect Advisor on Startup" turned off.

(This is a couple sessions of Mstn V8i and a couple sessions of Connect.)

So I have to say that this is [description omitted].
1) The preference to launch Advisor is turned off
2) I never authorized Advisor to be installed into V8i
3) I noticed a slow down.
4) I don't use Advisor, especially in V8i.  In Connect I have opened it a couple times to see if there is anything worth looking at.
5) Unless Advisor is open, it should not be taking computer resources
6) There should only be one session of Advisor going--ever!

What is going on with this?  How do I stop it?  How do I prevent it from coming back in future updates?

Also, quite contrary to Bentley forcing this onto its users, where is the start menu item for Advisor?  If this is a separate application from Microstation, then why can't I just start Advisor to look around at things?  If it is part of Microstation, then why does it need to be a background process/service, and why does it get installed in other versions of Microstation?

Bentley want us to explore their new software and tools.  I don't want to have to uninstall the Advisor, because I want to see if there is something of value.  At the same time, there is no reason for it to be taking up computer resources for my causal once in who-knows-how-long curiosity.
