Is there a key-in to toggle the "lock" on the Manipulate Scale dialog?
I recorded a macro, but it did not record anything for when I toggled the lock.

did you try to make a VBA macro and select object first then use the icon for scale and change the lock to open....?
Worked for me but it looks like its " tbc" thing to hard for simple keyin, so easy answer is yes make a vba macro and it works with a bit of real vba skill you could have it ask you the values ....

set item toolsettings proportionaltoggle=<0|1>
but it seems it does not work.

Hi Lorys, As I said, I recorded a macro, I guess I should have specified a vba macro, and it recorded nothing when I toggled the lock.

Hi Jan, proportionaltoggle is not the code for the lock.
If you toggle the Method from Active Scale to 3 points, a Proportional setting appears on the dialog.
The proportionaltoggle key in, checks and unchecks the box for this setting.
I forgot to mention in my original post that I had tested those set item toolsettings as well.
